Terms: 

 

These terms and conditions apply to all students participating in and availing of content from Emma Stewart Cake Academy and The Luxury Cake Academy, including downloads, online courses/classes, coaching and membership.

 

It is a condition of your purchase and participation in an online class/membership or download that you first agree to these terms and conditions.

 

 

Payment: 

 

Classes/Courses

• Payment will be made as either a one off cost or in monthly payments. Payment plans for classes/courses cannot be opted out of once agreed during the payment period stated at the time of payment.

• Confirmation of receipt of payment and enrolment will then be received by the student by email.

• Payments for all courses/classes are non-refundable and non-transferrable at any time.

 

Membership

• Payment for membership is made as monthly or yearly payment.

• Memberships are set up on a recurring basis which means that on the monthly or annual anniversary payment will be taken, this will be the same amount as the one you signed up with. This is termed as a rolling contract.

• You have the right to cancel your membership at any time, which will stop your recurring payments. Do so by contacting me here.

• There is no notice period required, so once you have notified me in writing there will be no further payments taken.

• You will have access for the duration of the membership you signed up for (monthly or annually). Refund will not be given for unused membership should you choose to cancel within the membership duration.

• If there are insufficient funds in your account or payment is not received for some reason, I have the right to request payment again until it has been received.

• I have the right to suspend or cancel memberships where any wrongdoing is suspected and a decision will be made based on evidence provided.

 

Coaching

• Payment will be made as either a one off cost or monthly payments depending on the duration of coaching agreed.

• Confirmation of receipt of payment and enrolment will then be received by the student by email.

• Payments for coaching are only refundable if 24 hours’ notice is given prior to the scheduled appointment time.

• Cancellation of a session within 24 hours of the designated time or a “no show” will be offered to reschedule but no refund.

• If you reschedule or “no show” you will only be offered 1 alternative time, following this no further appointment will be offered without booking with a new payment.

 

Downloads

• Payment for downloads are made as single purchase payment.

• Downloads are non-refundable.

 

Cake Tools

• Returns are accepted in the original packaging within 14 days of purchase, I must be contacted prior to return by emailing hello@emmastewartcakedesign.com.

• Refunds will be issued to the original payment source used on purchase.

• Buyer to cover the postage costs to return items.

• Please report any faulty products to hello@emmastewartcakedesign.com, to be considered for replacement(s) or refund.

Use of Content: 

 

“Content” refers to the content of this site and designated Facebook group which includes tutorials, blogs, downloads, images, videos, graphics, logos, data and design layouts.

 

Only with express permission from myself (Emma Stewart) can any content be copied or used in any way. Cakes, sugar flowers or other projects created in tutorials, demos or downloads can be recreated however the promotional images, material and content cannot.

 

Content is for personal use only and may not be stored, copied, disassembled or distributed to anyone else.

Revision of Terms & Conditions:

I (Emma Stewart) may revise these terms and conditions at any time without notice. By enrolling on one of my courses/classes/membership or downloads, you agree to be bound to the current version of these terms and conditions. Members will be notified of any changes to the terms and conditions through my newsletter.

Privacy: 

 

All information collected and use of any information about you is governed by GDPR. Only personal information you disclose in relation to your use of this site, membership and newsletters (which can be unsubscribed).

 

Your details will not be passed on to or sold to anyone unless to satisfy a request by the law, regulatory body or government.

 

Please remember that any information shared within the membership private Facebook group could potentially be collected by other parties as this is still classed as a public domain (I do not have control over this).

Emma Stewart of Emma Stewart Cake Academy and The Luxury Cake Academy is not liable to you for any loss, claim, injury or damage of any kind that in in any way related to your use of this site, any related trainings or groups. I make no warranty of any kind about the information or content provided on this site, in trainings or any related groups.
